The MEM major is a critical pathway to the development of future leaders in manufacturing in the state of Connecticut, as well as in the global economy. Manufacturing is the basis of a strong economy and our partnerships with industry are the backbone of a strong curriculum to prepare our students to contribute to this economy in a meaningful way.

Industry leaders partner with MEM in a variety of ways that contribute to the preparation of our students for the workforce. There are many ways businesses can get involved:

• Sponsor a Senior Design project.
• Join the Industry Advisory Board.
• Support a scholarship.
• Speak at a Manufacturing Club meeting.
• Guest lecture for an MEM course.
• Mentor an MEM student.
• Recruit MEM students.
